Data Engineer For Data Product Quality Jobs

This is a remote position.

Review and verify data on all plays during live games

Ensure all plays have data and video mapped properly

Confirm player participation on a play-by-play basis

Confirm all advanced statistics are created post play

Must be computer savvy (Chrome, Slack, Google Docs/Sheets, Zoom, etc.)

Decompose large-scale data products into manageable tasks, emphasizing iterative development and continuous improvement, while promoting a collaborative and innovative work environment

3+ years of professional software development experience building large scale data systems

Experience with data warehouse databases like Snowflake or Big query

Experience with Data DevOps practices and familiar with tools like DBT

Experience in building high volume data pipelines using SQL, Python or Spark

Knowledge of best practices for building data pipelines

Three years of full-time professional-level work experience in program administration, program development, program operations, or management; and

Experience with EDA (exploratory data analysis) using a variety of Python libraries or BI platform tools

Experience with AWS or other PaaS cloud services (such as AWS S3, RDS, Redshift, EMR, and Lambda) are a plus

Build complex data transformations and statistical models using Python, SQL, SAS.

Perform EDA, scenario modeling, forecasting and simulations on large datasets.

Ingest, transform, clean and augment internal and external data assets. Automate data pipelines to process. patient-level and aggregated public health data.

Continuously learn by investigating new technologies and mentor other team members.

Talk about product issues with plant manager and non technical personnel.

3 plus years of experience as an engineer in a manufacturing setting.

3 years of quality testing experience

1 or more years of value engineering experience

Research, evaluate, develop, and apply new processes and methods into products.

Establish and conduct testing routines.

Ability to effectively communicate product architectures, design proposals and negotiate options at management levels.
