Dairy Operations Manager Jobs

Leadership experience: an ability to lead from the front within a similar Operations role.

Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to effectively communicate ideas, goals, and results to various audiences.

Strong problem-solving skills; analytical and data-driven; able to come up with creative solutions to unique challenges.

Manage department commitments in the areas of lean operating techniques, cost reduction, safety, customer satisfaction, employee relations, and departmental performance measures

Head of Operations / Senior Operations experience

To apply, you must have the following experience:

A high school diploma and food/beverage manufacturing experience.

A bachelor's degree in a program relevant field may be substituted for manufacturing experience.

Also responsible for compliance with all State (DHEC) and Federal (FDA & USDA) Regulatory Guidelines.

Position requires extended work hours during peak seasons and/or during emergencies.

The Agriculture Division Director has deemed position essential and must be manned during any and all state or agency emergencies.

Must successfully complete eight (8) week SCDC Basic Training upon hire

Extensive experience with operations and people management.

Demonstrated ability to organise and plan workflow, set priorities and meet deadlines in a project and contract management context.

Minimum 6 years' experience in Food industry, ideally with a minimum of 3 in the Dairy industry.

Well-developed communication skills, both verbal and written in negotiation, facilitation, report preparation and conflict resolution.

Experience with OSHA, USDA, HACCP rules and regulations.

Analyzes and evaluates information concerning daily operations and how these results positively or negatively affect department performance.
