Position: User Experience (UX) Writer

• Create content for various outputs, including products, tools, logged-on customer account experiences, and more.

• Write with an understanding of ADA/WCAG requirements for accessibility, ensuring content meets these standards.

• Minimum of five years of writing experience in a deadline-driven environment.

• Strong expertise in crafting narratives for end-to-end digital experiences and producing concise, action-oriented, jargon-free copy.

Important Note: Proficiency in distinguishing between UX and Copywriting is crucial.

Experience working directly with designers, product managers, researchers, linguists, and other subject matter experts

Experience with multilingual, multicultural teams across various time zones is not required but is a huge plus.

Bachelor's Degree in English, Technical Communications, or equivalent professional experience in a related field

5+ years experience in technical or marketing writing, product documentation, or online publishing

At least 2+ years of in-product writing experience (UI, notifications, errors, tooltips, etc.)

An online portfolio or samples of work demonstrating experience creating user-centered copy and content solutions

Create, test and launch meaningful copy for all our experiences.

Work on feature development, naming, user flows, product logic, and education.

You have 5+ years of experience creating detailed, thought-provoking, and informative in-product copy.

You have exceptional written communication and storytelling skills.

You have experience in hardware + software environments, ideally in the mobility space.

Create a first version of our in-product voice and tone guidelines setting standards.

Bachelor's or Master’s degree in English, Journalism, Communication, Literature, Business, Marketing, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Experience in writing, editorial, marketing, UX writing, or related field with experience leading content strategy (e.g., timelines, prioritization, roadmapping).

Experience training technical language models is a plus.

Experience working in a cross-functional technology organization.

This role is paid an hourly rate of $100-120 depending on experience.

Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Communication, Literature, Business, Marketing, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

3 years of experience in writing, editorial, marketing, UX writing, or related, as well as leading content strategy projects.

Experience on UX-focused product writing and shaping content for multi-disciplinary projects.

5 years of experience interacting with executive leadership.

5 years of writing, editorial, marketing, or UX writing experience in an agency setting.

3 years of experience working in a complex, cross-functional technology organization.

Project management experience, ability to plan, manage, and maintain the awareness programs and learning events.

Help manage the cyber training and awareness training curriculum in Ford’s Learning Management System and Degreed.

4+ years of experience creating training material for a large organization

5+ years of experience leveraging multimedia tools for delivering and creation of training materials

2+ years of experience working with Cybersecurity tools

Ability to work well in a team environment using strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills and team leadership skills
