Customer Service And Purchasing Representative Jobs

Review and resolve shipping and payroll discrepancies; assist buyers, program managers and other team members

Perform data entry, run status reports, file and perform other general administrative duties as required

Bachelors/Associate degree and 2+ years of relevant customer service experience

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Experience in purchasing activities, supplier/vendor expediting, RFQs, follow-up with requests, OR resolving shipping discrepancies desired.

Provide customer service and purchasing material support for the base through email and phone calls using a database.

• Provide MIS reports and other management related data to key stakeholders.

Be familiar with contractual requirements in A&D domain like part nomenclature, specs, equivalents, alternates, licensing requirements such as ITAR / EAR.

Be familiar with procurement advisories, procurement analytics, supply base optimization and total acquisition cost analysis.

• Own purchase contracts. Work with legal counsels to ratify agreements prior to signing off.

• Own the associated logistics and warehousing activities.

• Ensure pristine upkeep of material related data, in quick books, for financial statements and statutory compliance.

Ecommerce Management – Processing ecommerce orders submitted via EDI and email. Managing claims, cancellations and tracking.

Minimum 3 years’ experience in customer service

Purchasing/Buying experience required, preferably in a resale environment

Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills.

Outstanding telephone etiquette and customer focused, professional written communication skills.

Organization skills and ability to handle multiple tasks.
