Provides project management on quality improvement projects for Tennessee Department of Children's Services staff.

Provides training, on-going technical assistance, and consultation to Tennessee Department of Children's Services staff.

Contributes to the organization by actively participating in process improvement initiatives and shared decision making.

Participates in formal and informal training opportunities to increase knowledge and skills and maintain technical competencies

Responsible for planning with committees, task forces, groups, and organizations to conduct educational programs and activities

Responsible for implementing the planned educational programs and activities in assigned program areas

Provides leadership or serves in a support role in implementing educational programs which address critical issues and/or emerging needs

Utilizes a variety of teaching methods, strategies/techniques, activities, and materials in conducting educational programs

Coordinates and collaborates with other agencies, groups and organizations to plan educational programs

Excellent planning and organization skills to manage your work schedule and meet deadlines

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS **Minimum requirements must be met by the closing date**

Administer and enforce policies established by the Board of Supervisors; promulgate rules and regulations as necessary to implement Board policies;

Develop budget instructions and policies, revenue estimates, and departmental budget targets to guide departments in budget preparation;

Supervise the performance of County departments, within the limitations established by state law or the Board of Supervisors;

Be responsible for orientation of new County Supervisors, new department heads, and member of boards, commissions and committees;

Work irregular hours as necessary;

Understand and be part of the community being served and experienced in community work, education, health care, or related field preferred.

Possess Information Technology skills such as Laptops, Smartphones, Internet/online application systems, Microsoft Office, etc.

The ability to read, write, and speak both Spanish and English; fluency in spoken Spanish is required.
