15 years of relevant design/construction experience in one of the following: architecture, engineering, construction management, or related field.

Experience working with Microsoft Office, Adobe, and construction project management systems.

Superior organization, problem solving and management skills.

Maintains thorough knowledge of existing facilities, facility systems, department and State standards, policy, and procedures.

Minimum 3-years experience in a supervisory role in a related office setting.

Excellent presentation, verbal, and written communication skills.

Supervises, trains and manages their Department Team in the absence of the Dept. Manager to:

2-3 years of related retail experience

Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks

Valid Driver's License with at least 5 years of relevant experience driving box trucks or refrigerated trucks is preferred.

Previous customer service and/or grocery retail experience preferred

Inspects the product to be donated following food safety guidelines and refuses donations if the product doesn't meet stated criteria.

Delivers food to non-profit beneficiaries; informs supervisor of any problems or issues in a timely manner.

Collects and delivers all product following all state and federal food safety handling guidelines.

Completes and submits weekly reports in a timely manner.

Responsible for development, implementation, oversight, instruction, and evaluation of agency sanctioned programs.

Assist programs, reentry, and rehabilitative services with hands on development of specialized programs.

Help recruit volunteers from the community to assist in program facilitation.

Teach courses/programs, help train inmates as peer-to-peer facilitators, and oversee program facilitation.

Perform other duties upon request of the assistant deputy director for programs and the institution's warden.

Ability to work effectively and efficiently with limited supervision, and with discretion.

Supervising offenders performing large-scale food production and food service operations at close custody prison facilities.

Supervising offenders in their assigned food preparation and food service work areas.

Training offenders in institutional cooking, baking, and serving, while maintaining sanitation standards in all areas of the kitchen.

Maintaining proper food storage and sanitationor the quality of food service and sanitary conditions .
