Corporate Facilities Director Jobs

Requires eight to ten years of experience in facilities maintenance and project management or closely related experience.

Directs and manages daily department operations, including facilities management, toll bridge operations and records management.

Manages the building automation systems for county facilities.

The purpose of this class is to manage the operations and maintenance of Galveston County facilities.

Strong facilities and construction trades knowledge.

General knowledge of NYCT rules, operations, and procedures.

Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management or Healthcare or equivalent combination of education/related experience: Required

Five years' facilities experience: Preferred

Five years' leadership experience: Preferred

Certified Facility Manager (CFM) or Certified Healthcare Facility Manager (CHFM): Preferred

Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Minimum of five years progressive management/supervisory experience required.

Previous hospital experience in project management required.

Minimum of bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of related experience.

Minimum five to seven years’ experience in plant and building maintenance in an acute-care hospital required.

Knowledge of federal, state, and local agency building, plant operations, fire, Life Safety Codes and TJC standards.

Strong computer skills including Microsoft suite of products, CAD software and ticket management software.

Provide project management oversight to all capital improvements which includes defining scope and objectives, involving stakeholders, and ensuring feasibility.

Provide space management within all buildings which includes allocation, renovation, and relocations.

Candidate should have broad knowledge as it relates to HVAC, plumbing, structural repairs, and landscaping (exterior) maintenance oversight.

Those with Military leadership experience are highly desired.

Develop and implement a buildings and grounds maintenance program using historic records, replacement schedules, and periodic inspection with appropriate staff.

Forms teams with appropriate and diverse mix of skills, perspective, and experiences.

Manage and oversee maintenance work across all Atlanta Community Food Bank facilities to ensure code compliance, gain efficiencies, and reduce costs.

Manage contract specs and bids, bid processes, third party consultants, contractors, and vendors.

Manage the Help Desk platform to ensure all repairs are conducted and completed in a timely manner.

Partner with HR to oversee any personnel safety issues in collaboration with the Safety Manager(s).

Manage the Community Service onsite program in collaboration with the facilities team members.

Any other key operations/construction/facility management reports focusing on key performance indexes that could improve property performance.

Works with Acquisitions, Development, and Asset Management to advise of all new projects and anticipated completion/opening dates.

5+ Years of Multi-location construction/facility management

Budget vs. actual expenditures, monthly and year-to-date capex budget reviews, cost to manage expenses.

Manage and coordinate due diligence process for new and acquisition properties including preparation of capital expenditure projections.

Ensures each property meets all city/state/federal code and safety requirements

Knowledge and work experience with building management systems, their structure, maintenance and repair

A degree in a facilities/engineering/business management related field.

Must be able to work and communicate effectively both orally and in writing with stakeholders, management, peers, and subordinates

5 years (total) of experience in the following:

Ideally, the successful candidate will possess a complete knowledge and background in the theory, operation and maintenance building electro and

A knowledge of plumbing, carpentry, electrical and be mechanically inclined
