Any equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the knowledge, skills and abilities necessary to perform the work; and
Demonstrate sound time-management skills by effectively or efficiently delegating, organizing, prioritizing, and completing multiple assignments on or before the designated deadline.
1-2 years of experience in medicine or law enforcement; or
Utilize high level of conflict resolution skills with staff, community members, elected officials and all stakeholders.
Identifies wounds, including entrances and exits, blunt trauma, sexual assaults, pattern injuries etc.
Develops reports of crimes, accidents, evidence, statements and the pathologist's findings and provides information to proper law enforcement personnel.

Coroner Technician Jobs

Recover and transport bodies to a Coroner's facility throughout the County; pick up specimens and/or records from hospitals and nursing homes.
Maintain vehicles, facilities and all instruments/equipment in a clean, orderly, and sanitary condition.
Photograph deceased persons at the scene of death and autopsy using digital cameras.
Receive, log, and process bodies including weighing, undressing, fingerprinting, and x-raying as they arrive at a Coroner facility.
Release deceased persons to mortuary or authorized persons upon completion of the Coroner's investigation.
Prepare and maintain routine investigative files, facility forms, and statistical and daily activity reports.
