Must have ability to prioritize and organize heavy workload(s) and demonstrate effective time management skill(s).

Basic computer skill with working knowledge of word processing, spreadsheets, ten-key, and general computer applications.

Complete data entry and/or board consumer loans and change in terms.

High degree of attention to detail as well as excellent organizational skill(s) to perform in a fast-paced environment.

Working knowledge of standard office equipment.

A moderate level of banking knowledge desired.

Experience and knowledge of federal and private education loans and education loan servicers preferred.

Strong relationship management and leadership skills.

Bachelor’s Degree required; substantial industry experience may be substituted for a Bachelor’s Degree.

3-5 years of experience as a financial services compliance professional, bank regulator or other comparable legal experience.

Demonstrated knowledge of the consumer loan servicing, including Regulation Z, FCRA, SCRA, ECOA, UDAAP.

Sound decision-making skills; able to make decisions independently and quickly.

Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.

Must have strong time management skills.

Contacting past due customers to resolve financial problems

Recommend loan approval/denials, counter-offers, and deviations from conventional loan structure and pricing. Manage loan closing process with customers.

Consult with members and the public about asset purchase, credit management, budgeting, debt restructuring, and financial planning issues.

Make outbound calls to members to solicit loan applications.

Interview consumer loan applicants. Assist member in completing loan applications over the phone and/or electronically.

Collate, analyze, and evaluate information & documentation in support of loan applications.

Evaluate borrower Character, Collateral, Capacity to Repay, and Credit position as a part of loan decisioning process based upon individual circumstances.

Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Management, Finance, Law Required

10 years of consumer loan experience in servicing industry with 5+ being in leadership roles

Working knowledge of operational best practices and working knowledge of risk and control frameworks for Consumer loans

Working knowledge in MSP (a Black Knight product)

Intermediate skills in Word, PowerPoint, Excel

Strong problem solving and negotiation skills with an ability to identify problems and recommend solutions quickly
