A minimum of 2 years of experience in an Assistant Project Manager role or similar within the construction industry.

Assisting the Project Manager in planning, executing, and finalizing projects according to strict deadlines and within budget.

Proven experience in civil construction, underground utility construction, concrete infrastructure, and civil sitework.

Knowledge of Process / Operations Management, QA/QC procedures, Safety, Environmental and Facilities / Capital.

Demonstrated ability to diagnose process problems and manage remedial action.

Demonstrated effective communication, presentation and interpersonal skills in order to interface with and motivate all levels of personnel.

Prepares reports as directed concerned with chemical and bacteriological analyses of water for administrative purposes and regulatory agencies.

Regularly identifies, evaluates, recommends, and helps implement approved improvements to improve utility reliability, regulatory compliance and/or cost effectiveness.

Supports capital and facility improvement plans as required. Interacts with facility owner, engineers and other consultants, coordinates with contractors as needed.

Oversight/Management of Project Engineer and associated responsibilities including document Control, RFIs, Submittals, Material Delivery Tracking and Meeting Minutes.

3-5 years’ experience within the construction field in project management, or similar role.

Support project cost and change management process: prepare reports for review with other team members and present at both Owner and internal meetings.

A bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or similar.

Manage close-out documentation (as-builts, O&Ms, warranties, test reports, etc.) for submission to Design Team and Owner.

Manage financial closeout process with subcontractors and Owner.

In depth knowledge of schedule management tools and software.

Monitoring and applying performance management techniques using KPI’s to improve project performance.

Leads and manages a team of professionals delivering planning/schedule management services and responsible for staff development.

As a planning / schedule management specialist, stays up to date with key industry / professional trends.

Awareness of current methodologies & tools to manage/analyze develop planning/schedule information related to projects (e.g. MS Excel, MS Project, Primavera P6).

Good working knowledge of planning/scheduling, EVM, project controls methodologies

3+ years’ experience in project management or administrative assistance

Proficiency in any management software

Helping to coordinate and manage project tasks and deliverables

Performing other duties assigned by the Project Manager in an orderly and efficient manner

Strong written and oral communication skills

Liaising with project stakeholders concerning project details and deliverables
