A minimum of six months of experience in run cutting techniques including proficiency in computerized run cutting methods.

A minimum of six months of experience in manual and computerized schedule making techniques.

Ability to efficiently manage time and workload, which includes planning, organizing, and prioritizing.

Working Environment And Physical Requirements

Assists in producing computerized run cuts for Bus/ Rail Operator votes.

Responds to inquiries by the public regarding zoning and subdivision requirements, potential uses of buildings and land, addressing, and signage.

Six (6) months of experience in the field of planning and community development; or

Two (2) years of professional experience in the field of planning and community development; or

American Institute of Certified Planners (AICP) Certification preferred for the Planner II position

Knowledge of zoning and subdivision regulations.

Knowledge of urban planning principles.

EXAMPLES OF ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Reviews, interprets, and analyzes permits and other administrative applications for compliance with zoning requirements.

Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Starting Hiring Range: $56,062.31 to $59,426.05

Prepares and updates graphics and maps.

Reviews sites for verification of development completion according to approved plans.
