Superior organizational skills necessary to effectively manage multiple activities

One or two years’ experience in customer relations, public contact position, and/or TRICARE, including presentations to groups

Experience in handling high volume customer contacts in a courteous and professional manner

Excellent oral and written communication skills

Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite

Experience in analyzing information, researching problems, and determining and implementing solutions

Excellent time management skills and team player

Knowledge of building, construction, and maintenance

Participates in assessment and evaluation of DYCD facilities and NYCHA Cornerstone facilities.

Interfaces with NYCHA personnel and community residents to ensure that needs are being met.

Analyzes physical sites and recommends improvements.

Assists in reporting and ensuring that repairs to the sites are responded to expeditiously.

List any relevant experience and education that demonstrates that you qualify for the position.

Develops innovative approaches to encourage property owners and managers to maintain and upgrade property.

Informs the public of applicable City Municipal Codes.

Processes and responds to citizen initiated complaints regarding potential violations of the City Municipal Codes.

Participates in the process of reviewing and updating the City's Municipal Codes.

Minimum Requirements & Essential Functions

At least 18 years of age.

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in healthcare or business administration or related field preferred.

Law enforcement experience (HSSF is a private law enforcement organization not affiliated with CalPers)

Must have an Associate degree at a minimum (higher education desirable).

Job Related And Essential Qualifications

Attend community functions such as but not limited to the Municipal Advisory Council (MAC) and County Commissions/Committees.

Actively support and promote the missions/goals of HSSF.

Assist other Humane officers and/or agencies on searches or incidents as appropriate.

3 years’ experience in a federal agency, GCC, or service headquarters in policy development, international agreements, and strategy.

3 years recent experience in developing business and communication strategies intended to achieve strategic objectives.

2 years’ experience or academic coursework in negotiations. Acceptable example would be experience negotiating Memos of Agreement or Understanding.

Review, analyze, and summarize SOLO reporting. Draft plans and track actions stemming from SOLO reporting.

Support development of engagement plans and strategies which support negotiation of MOAs for new countries.

Maintain a data base of all USSOCOM international agreements affecting J3-I exchange and liaison officers and SOLO placement.

Must possess knowledge of local, ordinances, codes and regulations.

Primary Engages in parking enforcement (i.e. handicapped, fire zone, no parking, school guard crossings, etc.)

Performs traffic control and minor accident reports; tows abandoned vehicles

Assists with crowd control at major crime scenes, issues malicious mischief reports and petit theft/larceny reports

Performs vacant house watch, home security surveys, minor burglary reports, and in-person follow-up reports.

Responds to R.U.O.K. calls, animal complaints.

Provides peer counseling on common questions about breastfeeding and helps mothers manage common breastfeeding concerns.

At least two (2) years of prior work experience.

Facilitates discussion groups on breastfeeding and counsels women individually.

Selects and provides targeted breastfeeding handouts to participants.

A minimum of a H.S Diploma/ GED .

Possess a valid driver’s license.
