Commercial contracting experience with vendor, OEM, and buy/sell agreements as well as real estate leasing agreements.

Manufacturing industry experience a plus.

Demonstrated ability to work well with in-house counsel, outside counsel, internal and external clients.

Ability to work full time hours on a contract basis until project completion.

Oversee and administer full life cycle contract management, including service agreement renewals.

Audit and manage existing commercial agreements.

Significant experience (8+ years) drafting, negotiating, and managing complex sales/service agreements.

Strong critical thinking, decision making, and creative compromise abilities are a must.

Dynamic and persistent personality with confident leadership and influence capabilities.

Excellent written and verbal comprehension and communication skills.

Strong organizational and project management skills with high level of attention to detail and accuracy.

Maintain and organize contract files on document management system.

Liaison with the legal team, account managers and internal groups to ensure compliance with contractual terms.

Partner with Finance to track contractual terms.

Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to interact and collaborate with internal stakeholders and external vendors.

Staff on law review, journal, or other significant legal writing experience;

The equivalent of one full year of legal experience through employment, internships, and/or externships;

Excellent skills in research, writing, proofreading, communication, and source and cite checking (including use of proper Bluebook form); and,

Conduct research and writing at the direction of the Judge, utilizing automated library services such as Westlaw and LexisNexis.

A general knowledge of business and intellectual property law, especially with reference to small businesses.

Responsibilities Regarding In-House Counsel Work

Interface with our external counsels.

A minimum of 3 years of experience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial contracts in-house for an F500 company

Prior experience at an Am Law 200 corporate law firm is a plus

Experience creating contract templates and managing contract databases is also a plus

The ability to work part-time for approximately 20-30 hours per week on a remote basis
