Knowledge of data analysis, project management, and presentation design

Master's degree in a related mental health area.

A valid California license as a mental health provider (Psychologist, LMFT, LCSW or LPCC) in good standing.

Fluent to provide therapy in English and Spanish, Cantonese, Mandarin, Tagalog, Arabic, Farsi, or Hindi languages.

Assist in peer support groups with assigned consumers on a regular basis

Support/assist consumers in decision making and resolution of minor problems

Model effective coping and self-help techniques to individuals or groups of consumers

Participation in the seasonal influenza vaccination program is a requirement for all Department of Veterans Affairs Health Care Personnel (HCP).

Knowledge of assessment tools and treatment for the diagnosis or disability of the patient.

Knowledge to apply evidence-based and best practice therapeutic techniques and interventions.

Experience. At least one year of creditable experience at the next lower grade level GS-09.

Provide initial assessments, check-ins, and offer appropriate referrals within Mindpath

Collaborate when necessary for best patient care and experience

Excellent verbal / written communication skills – timely notes and documentation

Supporting patients through assessments of their current mental state

Identify areas of concern and develop a plan of therapeutic treatment
