Cloud Operations Leader Jobs

You have 8+ years of systems administration and systems engineering experience, most notably on Office 365 migrations to GCC/GCC High

Additionally, you have hands-on experience with Azure migrations

You have at least 2 years of experience with an MSP handling at least dozens of migrations a year

Ideally you are familiar with CMMC compliance – or have heard of these cybersecurity requirements

You consider yourself organized, generally calm, and a capable communicator with previous experience meeting with stakeholders to define technical needs

You work well in a remote home-office setting

• Knowledge of web and application server management (Nginx, Tomcat, NodeJS).

• Collaborate with excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Solid Python, shell, Java, and JavaScript knowledge.

• Advanced knowledge of Infrastructure as code tools and best practices.

• Experience using PostgreSQL and/or MySQL.

• Experience with Continuous Integration tools like GitHub Actions.

Experience with releasing, launching, and life-cycling products

Advanced AWS Certification – Professional preferred

People leadership experience supporting a team of 4+ Cloud/DevOps Engineer

Experience in any of the modern container orchestration frameworks

Experience with containerization (Kubernetes, Docker, Flux, etc)

Recent experience supporting a SaaS platform, utilizing AWS cloud platform

Ability to project manage, communicate directly with stakeholders, and communicate using non-technical lexes

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, a related field, or equivalent experience or training in industry

Strong time management and organizational skills

Previous Azure CSP program management experience

The day to day people management of the senior technical teams in the cloud organization

Management of agreements, licensure, subscriptions, etc.

Strategic planning for the lifecycle of the cloud platform including management tools and technologies.

24/7 on call rotation for management escalations for critical situations
