Knowledge and skill with word processing, spreadsheet, database, and e-mail computer software (e.g., Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, Outlook)

Knowledge – Skills – Abilities

Knowledge of molecular biology, genetics, chemistry, mathematics, documentation, and records management.

Data utilization, complex problem solving, critical thinking, resource management, and writing skills.

Prior experience with experimental animal models is preferred.

Minimum Required Education: Bachelor’s degree in scientific field.

Minimum Required Experience: No experience required, 1-2 years of prior research experience recommended/preferred (particularly with molecular biology)

2. Maintain precise records and organize records of experiments. Analyze and report on data that are generated.

4. Execute chemical characterization assays including solubility, pH, osmolality and others.

7. Troubleshoot experiment results for cells and media, raw materials, media formulation, product storage, and QC assays.

8. Maintain stocks of chemicals, reagents and supplies in the laboratory, ordering and tracking materials as required.

3. Computer literate including, but not limited to, SAP and MS Office.

Master’s Degree in a relevant science plus one (1) year of related research experience

Or a Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant science plus two (2) years of related research experience.

Performs various research and clinical technical operations relative to ongoing investigatory activities of a laboratory

Assists in conducting specialized research for a particular phase of a project.

Assists in the conducting of a continuous program of research and development regarding the analytical and instrumentation functions of the laboratory.

Participates in the evaluation of the existing procedures, suggesting revisions where necessary and proposing new procedures where required.

Bachelor's degree in a related field. Four years of related experience may substitute for degree requirement.

Manages investigational drug accountability. (5%)

Two years of relevant experience.

Knowledge of Research processes a must.

Advanced knowledge of Clinical Research.

Effective communication skills, both orally and in writing.

Required Knowledge, Skills And Abilities

Skill in statistical interpretation and data analysis using statistical software and/or spreadsheets and database software applications.

Minimum of 6 to 8 years experience required

Establishes and maintains database files and uploads into the established electronic data capture platform. May perform data analysis and interpretation.

Any experience with PCR or Immunohistochemistry is preferred

Assist the research staff in all experiments, including washing dishes, making solutions, general lab maintenance and ordering.

Assist and support postdoctoral associates (and graduate students) with paperwork related to experiment scheduling.

Assist in record keeping and maintaining data.

LPN with current state licensure at the time of hire and three (3) years of related work experience

Basic laboratory skills and scientific knowledge in the area of study required.

Assist with development of new assays and qualification of new instruments

A minimum of 5 years experience in a clinical molecular laboratory required.

MB(ASCP) certification or eligibility for certification highly desirable.

Perform test validation, write validation plans, validation reports, and SOPs.

Perform documentations required for QA/QC of molecular assays.
