Client Accountant Jobs

Communication skills with clients and team members to provide excellent service.

Assisting senior tax preparers in preparing

Filing tax returns for businesses

Gathering and organizing financial documents

Input data into tax software, and support with basic calculations.

Assistance in researching tax laws and regulations to ensure accurate and compliant filings.

Experience in a remote environment is a plus

Bachelor's degree with a focus in Accounting, Finance, or related field

5+ years of full-cycle accounting experience

Manage communications with clients. Identify opportunities to add to improve the client's bottom line

Balance a flexible schedule with your manager; cross-train and load-balance with your colleagues

Attend and engage in ongoing meetings with your team and manager

Coordinate and assist in quarterly and annual reporting requirements

May be fresh out of school, or have one to three years of experience in an accounting role

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Proficient use and knowledge of computer systems

Prepare journal entries, analyze, and reconcile general ledger accounts

Problem solve and prepare bank reconciliations

Effectively communicate and collaborate with clients and property management in a timely manner.

• College degree in Finance or Accounting preferred

• Apply appropriate procedures for preparation of accounting records, research of transactions and reporting.

• Research, analyze and effectively communicate basic accounting issues and escalate appropriately.

• Comply and assist with internal and external audits by providing appropriate documentation and information as requested.

• Perform other related duties as required or requested.

Requires 3-5 years of accounting or job-related experience.

Public accounting experience is preferred but not required.

Demonstrated knowledge of other general ledger accounting software.

Demonstrated knowledge of GAAP and other methods of accounting.

Utilize various accounting software (Bill.com, Sage Intacct, and QuickBooks) to provide overall daily coordination of on-time processing of client transactions.
