Minimum 5 years experience in homebuilding and/or commercial construction

Hold the following certifications: Level A1 Georgia Soil Erosion Certification; Residential Building Contractor ( International Code Council)

Prior production home sales experience is preferred

Prior Salesforce and Newstar Sales experience is preferred

Special Skills or Training Requirements

BLS certification required within orientation period.

Previous nursing home experience preferred, but not required.

Good organizational and interpersonal skills.

Current or temporary RN license in ND or compact RN licensure.

RN program as evidenced by licensure.

“Onsite” new home sales experience required

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Promoting Meritage Homes to prospective buyers and meeting monthly/quarterly sales goals

Guiding homebuyers throughout the entire sales process, including contract and mortgage

Providing exceptional customer service to Meritage Homes Buyers

Generating traffic through relationships with the Realtor community, participating in community events and meetings, and other networking venues

Communication – Clear and coherent communicator who is able to convey technical work to a non-technical audience effectively

Owner – No ego. Strong ownership on doing what is right for the customer and the company

Experience in Sales, Advertising and/or Marketing

Passion for advertising sales and a desire to expand your advertising skillset

Experience with quantitative data analysis in Microsoft Excel

Knowledge of emerging media - brand websites, digital editions, social media platforms
