Monitor the effectiveness of the analytical quality management system and communicate to leadership improvement opportunities

Knowledge and experience with chemical analysis and measurement techniques

Perform product testing and measurement to ensure compliance with customer and regulatory requirements

Support team education and development activities to address quality issues

Contribute to the decomposition and flow of tickets in an agile project management system

Collaborate with the development team to test new features and ensure common understanding of requirements/user stories

Work with stakeholders and end users to elicit, understand, analyze, and document feature requirements

Design, implement, execute, and assess software quality through manual (and automated experienced) test cases to ensure product quality

Working knowledge of Agile software development frameworks (Scrum and SAFe)

Working knowledge of the following Atlassian products: Jira/Zephyr, Confluence, and Fisheye

Candidate must have extensive knowledge of cleanroom construction, microcontamination and certification

Interface with Contractor supervision on functions and requirements for installations

Perform all necessary inspections and equipment signoff requirements

Participate in SOP and perform SIPP and Pre-Task Plan audits for compliance to all requirements

Position Requirements (Skills, Work Experience, Education, Certifications, Licensees, etc.):

5+ years of experience in a management role directing people with varying skill levels and backgrounds in a construction related setting.

Keep opens lines of communication with Project Management and Construction Leadership to share experiences and achieve common goals.

Degree or certification in construction management or engineering.

Collaborates with management and senior staff across production departments and roles to draft acceptable quality standards.

Play an active role in the selection, approval and performance management of all Quality Control team members.

Work-in-progress inspections in order to verity that work has been completed in accordance with project quality requirements.

Subject Matter Expert with 3 plus years of direct experience in Pipeline tasks such as welding, excavating, general pipeline duties.

Ability to manage multiple tasks.

Assure that all incoming materials and components used in construction meet clients’ quality standards

Gather relevant construction data and documentation in the field in order to complete job books

Assist in fulfilling customer contract expectations with respect to compliance and standards

Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related field

Can be a combination of education, training and relevant experience

Ability to interact effectively and professionally with all levels of employees, both management and staff alike, vendors, clients, and others

Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks, changing priorities as necessary

Ability to work under time pressure and adapt to changing requirements with a positive attitude

Effective oral and written communication skills as required for the position

Min 10 years experienced with Technical Inspection Engineer

Min 10 years experienced within a relevant industry, e.g. Chemical Industry, Petrochemical Industry, Plant Engineering and Construction

Review and approve manufacturing data record, documentations and all testing packages during job handover to the area plant owners

Wood is currently recruiting for QA/QC Supervisor to join our team in Sweeny, TX.

Maintain training, qualification, and certification records for QC Inspectors

Provide Management with an information on all welders with a weld reject rate >5% .

Assist the Shop Management Team in resolving production welding problems

Work with corporate to maintain Quality Manual to meet the applicable ASME Code requirements.

Prepare QC Checklists for each job that list the specific QC/NDE requirements required for the job

Investigate Client Non-Conformance reports for cause and provide information to the Project Manager

Works directly with Foreman, General Forman, Supt, and the Project Manager

Demonstrates knowledge of the NEC Electrical Code

Plans work – responsible for all QA/QC inspections and assuring that all QA/QC documents are completed and filed.

Has the ability to act in a decisive manner

Familiar with all electric systems

This individual must be motivated and have the ability to monitor and report on the progress of work at each site
