Child Care Master Lead Teacher Jobs

ECD 101 or degree in Early Childhood Education preferred.

At least 6 months of experience working at a licensed childcare center

Experience in project and/or organizational management

Experience as a teacher, administrator, or other professional position within an organization that is connected to P-12 STEM education

At least three years of professional experience in the field of education or other non-profit

Direct experience in STEM education

Manage the CNY regional budget for the NYSMTP according to New York State and SUNY regulations and NYSMTP Program Implementation guidelines.

Evidence of effective written and verbal communication skills

Work collaboratively to plan and implement age-appropriate, fun, enriching, and hands on experiences for children

Escalate any incidents to the Program Manager as needed

Associates degree or two years of post-secondary education in a related field (Education, Social Work, etc.)

At least one year of experience working directly with elementary aged students

Communicate regularly and build relationships with families, students, and school district staff

Implement district, school, and program policies and procedures

Managing operating costs: The CCL manages operating costs by controlling labor and equipment expense without sacrificing the needs of our Mini-Members

3+ years of experience building high-performing operations teams required

Bachelor's degree or applicable work experience required

Strong verbal and written communications skills and interpersonal savvy

The qualifications for this position include, but are not limited to, the following:

Experience working with ORR, either directly or within a contractual requirement, in a management capacity

Overseas multiple responsibilities simultaneously and provides required reports and updates to management.

Experience working in or with an ICF or Emergency Intake Shelter (EIS) in a management capacity

Reviews employee training status and certifications, if applicable, to stay current and meet all contractual requirements.

Leads and participates in daily meetings with staff members and management.

Works closely with the Site Manager and Senior Management on a variety of tasks and projects pertaining to the operation.

SPECIAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND/OR ABILITIES:

REQUIRED MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

Toddler Room Teacher (ages 2 years old)

Two to four years working with preschool children in Center or school setting preferred.

Must be able to read, write, and speak English.

Must be able to lift 40 pounds and sit on the floor for periods of time.

12 credit hours in Early Childhood Education/Related OR 6+ months of experience in a licensed child care facility required
