The Chief Engineer is also responsible for managing a team of engineers and technicians to ensure that all maintenance and repair tasks are completed in a timely and efficient manner. The Chief Engineer will also be responsible for developing and implementing preventative maintenance plans, as well as responding to emergency maintenance requests. The Chief Engineer will also be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with vendors and contractors to ensure that all maintenance and repair tasks are completed in a timely and cost-effective manner.
