Chemical Manufacturing Engineer Jobs

Lead team of engineers and scientists technically and organizationally (project management) to deliver new solutions, and modify and enhance existing ones.

Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or relevant science and technology field or 5+ years relevant industry experience

Design, analyze, and modify all chemical processes

Experience in product management roles in a manufacturing setting

Convert product strategy into detailed engineering requirements for prototyping and final development, working closely with engineering teams

Prepare comprehensive product strategy documents detailing business cases, use cases, technical requirements, revenue projections, and ROI

Excellent writing, editing, presentation, and public speaking abilities

Nice to have: Proven success as a product developer in a nonmanagerial role

Ensure data integrity for the product line across all internal and external platforms

A broad knowledge of Process Safety Management, process safety, CPI practices and standards, and regulatory compliance.

Set high level safety interlock strategies and Management of Change (MOC) strategies

Experience in applied process development/process engineering and implementation for both batch and continuous processes.

Good communication skills, with coworkers, subordinates and customers.

MS, MBA, PhD, PE nice but optional

Experienced in project management and relevant communication software (MS Office).

Education or experience in handling energetic materials.

Technical skills to material-related engineering.

Manage suppliers and subcontractors in material manufacturing.

Hold a Master’s degree in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering, along with explosives industry experience.

Skilled in failure analysis and identifying root causes.

Independent and focused within a home office environment, with strong planning and time management skills with minimal supervision.

Collaborate with various departments such as Operations Engineering, Client Services, Account Management and Underwriting on risk assessment and risk mitigation strategies.

Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience (chemical industry preferred)

Good analytical, organizational, problem solving, and interpersonal skills

Solid technical aptitude including diverse knowledge of engineering principle

Strong verbal and written English communications skills

Predictive Maintenance experience and/or certification

Results are delivered through the application of engineering skills and tools; systematic problem solving; statistical validation of system performance.

Provide Facilities engineering leadership to the site organizations in support of Safety, Reliability, Quality, Environmental and Cost objectives.

Own safety within area of influence.

Should data not pass qualification requirements, escalate information decision to manager. Create deviation report for approval

Responsible for qualification reviews of all ECI products assuring successful process qualification of customer orders meet chemical specifications

Continuously improve and update the qualification process review checklist to be robust and comprehensive

Preview and validate all chemical packages and qualification data

Follow qualification plan and pre and post procedures

Conduct configuration of systems based on specific chemistry requirements.

Will provide process leadership and analysis to order fulfillment, Supply planning, inventory management, and order shipment.

Experience in a Supply Chain Manager role out of chemical, food, or pharmaceutical manufacturing processes

Strong background in Demand Planning and Inventory Management

Will manage, mentor and train 6 reports in production scheduling, shipping, and receiving.

Will lead Material Resource Planning (MRP) and warehousing, work with procurement and participate in the S&OP process.

Implement MRP planning and scheduling parameters to automate supply Chain planning processes.

Maintains up-to-date knowledge of technical development and trends in the field of expertise

Executes engineering processes ensuring that quality products are delivered on-time at competitive cost

Liaises with other stakeholders in order to provide professional support and advice

Strives for improvements and efficiencies in Engineering area Monitors KPIs for engineering processes
