Chemical Engineer Jobs

Irving Knight Group are working with an exciting technology firm offering world leading PFAS destruction solutions.

They seek to add a talented Chemical / Process Engineer to their team.

The Chemical Engineer is responsible for designing, monitoring, and improving 'THE COMPANY' chemical processes (including but not limited supercritical water oxidation and PFAS solvent extraction). All laboratory and field experiments, trials, and implementations will be under the purview of this position. It is essential that the Senior Chemical Engineer be capable of process design and implementation from concept to production.

Essential Duties

• Assist in the development and implementation of 'THE COMPANY' technology roadmap including working with the design engineering team to build out production solutions for key processing technologies.
• Maintain, increase, and enhance chemical processing intellectual property portfolio
• Lead team of engineers and scientists technically and organizationally (project management) to deliver new solutions, and modify and enhance existing ones.
• Develop and maintain expertise in all chemical processes (including SCWO) and represent 'THE COMPANY' technologies to customers.
• Design, analyze, and modify all chemical processes

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or relevant science and technology field or 5+ years relevant industry experience
• Ability to create chemical process models, evaluate them in the laboratory, lead the creation of field prototypes, and assist with final product design
• Must be a U.S. Person, as defined by U.S. export control laws.
• Ability to travel to customer locations and field sites across the continental US.
