Charging Firmware Validation Engineer Jobs

Proficiency in procurement, construction management, and vendor coordination.

Lead external contractor management, including engineers, architects, and utility consultants.

Gather RFIs from vendors (EVSE, PV, ESS, CMS, EPC) and manage vendor qualification.

Previous experience with large-scale EV charging infrastructure projects.

Offer technical support for customer proposals and RFPs.

Comprehensive understanding of vendors, software development, technology trends, charging standards, and EV industry regulations.

Drive systems improvements with internal CRM and project management systems

Manage and develop standards for communication for the Operations team to implement

Experience coordinating in fast-paced environments and teams

Ability to manage multiple projects with an eye for efficiency and priority

Previous experience in a customer facing role

Responsible for routine site host outreach and ad hoc campaigns

Strong data analysis skills, with experience using Python.

Previous technical work experience with electric vehicle charging hardware and protocols / standards.

Excellent oral, written communication and collaborative skills.

Develop and run data queries on fleet logs to help root cause analysis efforts.

Provide support on escalated customer cases in order to minimize system downtime, through day-to-day coverage of internationally distributed service cases.

BS or MS in an engineering discipline (Electrical, Mechanical, Computer Science, etc.)

BS or higher in engineering related field or proof of exceptional skills in related fields, with practical engineering experience.

Support the team with practical, quick solutions to issues that improves the tesla charging experience.

2+ years of experience in firmware and software validation.

System level engineering experience with electrical and mechanical systems.

Exceptional analytical problem-solving skills, able to identify and surface issues within complex HW/SW systems.
