Facilitate and assist in the development and identification of resources and support information for patients and their families

Provide ongoing support and training to direct support professionals, ABA implementers, and other individuals in support roles for families.

Ongoing training and supervision of paraprofessional staff in implementation of ABA principles and methodology and behavior reduction strategies.

Develop behavior plans/treatment plans for all consumers with a focus on teaching and other antecedent strategies for reducing problematic behavior(s).

Meet as needed with supervised staff to discuss ongoing consumer issues and to provide support when necessary.

Review and sign off on behavior plan/treatment plan training for all field staff and provide field supervision when necessary.

Completes the setup and monitoring of data management systems

Knows, understands, and complies with safety management procedures

Knows, understands, and complies with all relevant individual behavior management programs in operation

Conducts formal behavior analytic assessments including functional assessments, skill-based assessments, and ecological assessments.

When relevant for RBT registration, BCBA certification, or supervision thereof, complies with all regulations and guidelines of the BACB

Provides training and feedback regarding instructional and behavioral skills

Our BCaBA’s are able to perform the following job duties under the direct supervision of a BCBA:

Developing and monitoring each client’s comprehensive treatment program

Overseeing initial/ongoing staff training and supervision

Providing parent coaching and training

Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA)

Ability to take initiative, work independently, and demonstrate excellent time management skills

Demonstrated leadership skills and relationship management

Meets BACB (Behavior Analyst Certification Board) supervision requirements

Conducts behavioral and skills assessments as required by funding sources, and as needed, based on data analyses

Ensures supervision hours of RBTs, meet the requirements of the BACB.

Excellent written and oral communication skills

You are an excellent clinician, a great manager, and a collaborator with client caretakers

A Board Certified Behavior Analyst credential, ideally with some portion of your experience in a center-based setting

Strong competency in a range of skill acquisition and behavior reduction techniques

Providing clinical consultation and overseeing treatment programming for our staff and clients

Collaborating with parents or other caregivers to ensure client progress is sustained long-term

Hosting a grand opening party, showing off Apollo's newest location to families and potential team members

Hourly pay is based on national averages and will vary based on location, experience, qualifications and local or travel positions.

The minimum qualifications for a BCBA:

Full or Part Time: Full Time

Master’s degree or national equivalent with a major in psychology, special education, Applied Behavior Analysis, or related field of studies

Certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), verified through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board

Minimum two years’ experience working with children, adolescents, or adults with special needs

Crisis Intervention Training; renew certification annually

First Aid/CPR/AED; renew certifications as needed

Provide direct behavioral services and assessments

Minimum three (3) year of experience working with students with disabilities in an educational setting required.

Assists in the development of Individualized Education Programs (IEP) for students.

Manage a caseload of students.

Master’s Degree in Special Education, Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, Behavior Analysis or related field required.

Conducts Functional Behavior Assessments and Analysis; consults with district administration, school-based staff, and parents regarding issues relating to student performance.

Conduct classroom observations; provides written documentation of classroom and student observations to teachers and administrators.
