Respond to help desk technical questions generated by our Shared Hosting customers

Experience with solutions design and development of software requirements.

Translate user requirements, write technical specifications, and work closely with development resources on use cases, flowcharts, and technical design.

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field. Equivalent work experience may be accepted.

2 to 4 years of Information Technology experience preferred.

Adaptability, including dealing effectively with ambiguity. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Experience with Agile development methodologies.

Education Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.

Experience 10 years of related professional information technology support experience

Under minimal indirect supervision and or direction, performs work that is varied and that is difficult in character involving responsibility

Recognizes processes with needed efficiency enhancements and develops and leads plan for remediation

Maintains understanding of current Database/SAN/System industry standards and applies them to daily work

Mentors and leads departmental activities to maintain industry standards

BS Degree and 0-2 years' experience or a high school diploma/equivalent with minimum 6 years' experience

1-2 years demonstrated systems administration experience

One or more Cloud based certifications (AZ-900 AWS Practioner are acceptable) Security+ or ability to obtain

Day to Day Work Responsibilities:

Configures, installs, maintains and upgrades server applications and hardware.

Identifies security risks and exposures, determines the causes of security violations and suggests procedures to halt future incidents and improve security.

Build relationships with Information Systems staff to increase knowledge of correct support people and skill sets.

Participate in IT Change Management discussions if there are scheduled changes to the system.

Build work list/workflow as requested by HIM management.

Build and produce reports as requested by HIM management. Runs existing and creates new ad hoc reports.

Responsible for table and template management.
