Sr Business Intelligence Analysis Developer Jobs

Experience in scripting for automation (e.g. Python) and advanced SQL skills.

10+ years of professional or military experience

5+ years of SQL experience

Experience programming to extract, transform and clean large (multi-TB) data sets

Experience with theory and practice of design of experiments and statistical analysis of results

Experience with theory and practice of information retrieval, data science, machine learning and data mining

Ability to effectively present information to management and public groups

Conduct market research, opportunity-sizing, and competitive analysis to inform the long-term strategic direction of UNFI’s business model and offerings.

5-7 years equivalent business experience in consulting, consumer insights, competitive intelligence, marketing research preferred

Thorough knowledge of industry trends, opportunities, products, and competitors.

Strong analytical/ data interpretation skills and ability to translate data and analysis into actionable recommendations

Strong writing, communication, and presentation skills

Work with source technical teams to ensure data and reporting requirements are enabled within the source systems as required.

Proficiency in Microsoft BI platforms (SQL Server, Azure, Power BI, Analysis Services) Oracle PL/SQL experience a plus

Experience with Databricks or other spark technologies

Command knowledge of Agile methodology and tailoring designs and implementation to the maturity of the business

Excellent oral and written communication skills including the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Experience and passion working in a collaborative environment and implementing complex BI projects with multiple stakeholders and conflicting priorities.

Performs other related duties as assigned by management

5+ years in experience in SQL programing, with a skill for navigating and cleaning messy data at scale

Takes initiative, proactively problem solves and provides valuable input to senior management

Has strong presentation and collaboration skills and can communicate all aspects of the job requirements, including the creation of formal documentation

5+ years’ experience in business intelligence; developing metrics, dashboards and strong documentation, and providing support to business users

Possession of strong analytical/statistical skills used in evaluating and analyzing data.

Experience creating and maintaining Business Objects Universes using both the Universe Design Tool (UDT) and the Information Design Tool (IDT)

3+ years of experience in pulling, manipulating and analyzing data. This includes writing SQL queries that create datasets for analysis.

Experience in sourcing and analyzing data from multiple sources to develop accurate and robust data sets for use in reporting

Excellent problem solving and analytical skills

Experience in building reports and extracting data from Google Analytics a plus

Ability to work and communicate effectively with end-users to understand complex business reporting requirements

Project Management & Documentation - Set and manage timelines for delivery via the Project Plan

Experience in recognizing business problems and recommending/developing solutions for a variety of business data (Marketing, Finance, Operations, etc.)

Requirements Definition - Ensure alignment on project scope with key client stakeholders and within our team

Manage Project Budgets - Communicate budget utilization and ensure alignment on project priorities with the remaining budget available

Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent industry experience) in a quantitative field of study

5-8 years of experience supporting business intelligence systems

Advanced experience knowledge of various data sources, tools and technologies used in preparing summaries and reports

Experienced professional role providing specialized data visualizations to support business needs

Expected to have a knowledge of broader enterprise reporting platforms and data sources and ability to integrate data across the enterprise

Strong analytical and program solving skills are required to interpret data and draw conclusions

Excellent written and verbal communications skills

CRA WIZ experience is a big plus.

Full time. $110,344 – $144,000 per year. Competitive compensation and benefits.
