They inspect, repair, and maintain a variety of building systems, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and carpentry. They also perform preventive maintenance and respond to emergency repair requests.Detailed Job Description:
Building Maintenance Mechanics are responsible for inspecting, repairing, and maintaining a variety of building systems, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and carpentry. They must be able to identify and diagnose problems, and then make necessary repairs. They must also be able to perform preventive maintenance, such as changing filters, lubricating moving parts, and checking for leaks. In addition, they must be able to respond to emergency repair requests in a timely manner.What is Building Maintenance Mechanic Job Skills Required?
