TDCJ Training Academy MAY BE Required

Possesses a high level of organizational skills and is process-driven

Obtaining and maintains CMS Fire Inspector 1 certification through the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA).

Answering inquiries from the public and providing presentation on fire safety requirements.

Exhibiting proficient computer skills to schedule inspections and utilize computer databases.
