Compile backup and create cover sheets for invoicing on 3rd party damages to company equipment

Strong organization, planning, and time management skills.

Provide analysis and reports when required by management.

Invoice coding and data entry in company systems Data bases, into inter-company databases.

Minimum 1-2 years experience in billing and accounting

Excellent PC skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint a must.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Following up on unpaid claims to identify reasons for non-payment. Pre-certification and benefit verification may be required.

Identifying and correcting internal problems within assigned accounts to expedite payments from insurance companies.

Serves as liaison between patient and insurance companies.

Performs month-end closing on routine schedule with other patient account reps.

Substitutes in other areas of the business office as needed.

Health, Dental, and Vision insurance

6 - 12 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

One year or more of health care billing experience.

Provides effective follow up with insurance companies to inquire about outstanding payment.
