Minimum Education and Experience Requirements

Documented experience establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with all levels of staff.

Documented experience organizing and preparing accurate records, charts, and reports and analyzing such information.

Documented experience communicating effectively in oral and written form.

Documented experience utilizing judgment in determining and adapting techniques and strategies to deescalate a variety of situations.

Previous experience or familiarity with ABA therapy or developmental disabilities

Collect behavior and skill acquisition data during sessions

Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred or equivalent work experience

Preferred Registered Behavior Technician certificate from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board

A minimum of six months experience with ABA therapy, working with children with Autism

A rewarding experience helping children and families reach their full potential

Knowledge of post-acute care planning such as care transitions, home care, discharge planning, care coordination, case management, and disease management

2+ years management experience overseeing multidisciplinary teams

Serve as the lead physician for the Medicaid Behavioral Health plan working closely with medical management team leaders

Overall responsibility for implementation of the Utilization Management program

Chair the Quality Management Committee and Utilization Management Committee as required as well as participate in the NV Regional Planning Committee

3+ years of managed care experience

Two years of crisis intervention experience and skills.

Provide a current resume that clearly demonstrates experiences and dates of required qualifications.

Two years of experience with mental health issues relevant to college populations.

Two years of experience working with D-1 Collegiate Teams including football.

Two years of experience working with substance use disorders.

Employs innovative thought and demonstrates effective problem-solving skills.

Five (5) years of professional experience working with special populations in behavioral health, or intellectual/ developmental disabilities in adults and children
