Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required

Experience working within a Medicaid managed care environment and/or working with vulnerable populations in community behavioral health settings

Working knowledge of OARs and CCO requirements pertaining to youth continuum of care, and the delivery of youth services and supports

Communicate with youth behavioral health system partners regarding reporting as per contract requirements and reporting associated with CCO contractual obligations.

Minimum 3 years’ experience as a program specialist/coordinator in behavioral health and/or social services

Working knowledge of System of Care Values and Wraparound Principles

Maintain knowledge of local services and resources available to provide to clinicians as needed.

Coordinate with counterpart at OPHS and all program managers on policies, meetings, data collection as needed.

Provide clinical supervision and oversight for the Clinician Lead Community Response (CLCR) initiative.

Provide assistance with planning, interpretation, and scheduling for the Clinician Lead Community Response (CLCR) initiative.

Attend all scheduled meetings that are necessary for the function of the CLR.

Maintain confidentiality of records and information in accordance with HIPPA privacy guidelines and regulations

Offer presentations to address social skills development and social emotional learning that is crucial for childhood early development.

MRR-MFLCs will also benefit from:

Face-to-face counseling to military service members and their families (Individual, Couples, Family, and Children).

Visibility at assignment, supporting military-connected students, parents, and staff.

Promote creativity and positivity through approved materials.

Build rapport with service members, spouses, and children by attending installation and community events.

Five (5) years of professional experience working with special populations in behavioral health, or intellectual/ developmental disabilities in adults and children

Provide supportive interventions including psychoeducation and skills training to support role functioning.

Supervise managers that fall under the Behavioral Health integration purview (IBH, MAT, MMH).

Develop and foster positive relationships with clinic Medical and Operations Directors, Nurse Managers, and other Program/Department leads.

Experience in change management and culture change

Ensures that the BHD management team remains current on changes in laws and policies that affect services provided.

Fully responsible for diverse and complex financial management of BHD.

Financial Management, Leadership, and Development

Maintains working knowledge of most current state and federal legislative mandates, Center for Medicare and Medicaid regulations.

Directs the administration and development of program areas through review of reports, data and consultation with assigned managers.
