Automation Engineer Level 1 Systems Jobs

Gain and sustain SMOM knowledge by obtaining appropriate training and through interaction with corporate Digital Manufacturing networks.

2+ years of Information Technology or Electrical Engineering experience.

Experience of leading assigned IT Projects and/or Programs.

Thorough knowledge of Windows 10 operating systems.

Detailed knowledge and advanced ability in MS Office.

Minimum 0-4 years of job-related experience

Proficiency with basic test equipment, such as Spectrum Analyzer, Oscilloscope, etc.

BS in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering

RF frequency bands (L, S, C, X, Ku, Ka)

Experience with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs)

Experience in automation and/or automation practices

Experience with Siemens TIA Portal or Rockwell RSloigx5000 preferred

Excellent oral and written communication skills as well as excellent computer skills

Develop and implement PLC based automation control systems that include motion control, advanced sensors, VFD drives, and actuators

Perform Level 1 control system programming based on the function descriptions and mechanical and hydraulic layouts
