Attendant Parking Jobs in California

Maintain an atmosphere of pleasant hospitality including clear communication with guests, staff and management.

Must possess basic math skills, good telephone etiquette, good handwriting skills, work well under pressure and be detail oriented.

Proficient Microsoft word and excel knowledge

Answer telephone in a timely manner, following proper telephone etiquette and readily answering any questions courteously.

Monitor the entrances/exits of all parking lots via Parking software.

Answer questions from patrons, vendors, members, staff.

Must have excellent time management skills

Work closely with APD, Cal Trans, and City of Anaheim Traffic Management on daily traffic plans

Manage parking lot operations during event days

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

Computer knowledgeable in Microsoft Office (i.e., Word, Excel, and Outlook)

Strong attention to detail and solid organizational skills

Offers of employment may be contingent upon successful completion of a background investigation.

Ski passes for dependents (spouse/child(ren)) includes free skiing at other Alterra Resorts

Assists guests with parking, traffic direction and the daily set up of MMSA parking lots.

Direct guests to appropriate parking availability.

Assist with traffic flow and cross walks.

Assist guests with unloading and loading of ski equipment.

Uses respectful communication to assist guests with their questions, problems, and concerns; relays information to shift or Operations Manager as necessary

Immediately reports any accidents, incidents or safety concerns to Operations Manager or Shift Lead

One year of similar experience preferred.

Approaches and greets all customers in a friendly, professional manner

Is quick and responsive to provide excellent customer service

Follows all company procedures and complies with all safety regulations

Oversees special assignments and projects as requested by management.

Organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively, while balancing and prioritizing multiple or competing tasks.

High school degree or equivalent degree and 0-2 year’s of experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Oversees employee check-in and confirm staffing levels and plans for the event.

Ensures arriving staff are assigned and prepared for the event.

Assists the department with the onboarding of new employees on event day.

Must meet all requirements to receive required airport SIDA badge and Customs Seal (if applicable), including ten-year work history if available.

1 yr of similar work experience

Perform valet duties and park vehicles in open spots.

Take tickets from waiting patrons and park or retrieve vehicles.

Manipulate vehicles to take advantage of all spaces.

Collect fees from patrons wishing to park in garage.
