Experience as an Ombudsperson or in a similar role in higher education; Ombudsperson certification.

Experience with online and distributed learning education contexts.

Experience developing a comprehensive student support program for a college/university and/or other setting supporting adult learners and/or working adults.

Actively involved with the profession through research, professional associations, and service in student affairs/life and/or adult learning.

Is competent in interpreting exhibit information to guests of all ages, especially young children.

Intermittent and prolonged standing and walking to move about the aquarium.

1-2 years experience assigning, writing, and editing news and/or feature stories

Regularly brainstorm, pitch, and source original stories, series, packages, and franchises covering an array of on-brand lifestyle topics

Work closely with the Senior Editorial Director, Web to write and edit lifestyle features

Use analytics and trends to identify new angles and content strategy adjustments to support web growth

The ability to generate, assign, and edit an array of lifestyle ideas and stories quickly and efficiently

Familiarity with SEO best practices and analyzing traffic trends using Google Analytics
