Associate Director, Media Relations (remote position)

Co-create and implement local/regional media and partner relations strategy based on organizational goals and department objectives.

Lead media advocacy strategies to strengthen engagement with local media and influence local and regional news coverage.

Minimum of 3 years of management experience required.

· Excellent management, communication, critical thinking, problem-solving, time management, and organizational skills.

Manage and support associate relations experts by providing direction, guidance, counseling, advice, and recommendations to effectively address associate relations cases.

Develop and manage department budget and investment initiatives.

Minimum 8-10 years of progressively responsible associate relations experience required. Preferred industries include food service, retail, call centers, and shared services.

Extensive experience in creating, maintaining, analyzing, and presenting reporting and statistical data.

Strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills.

Responsible for management and development of Strategy and Planning team.

Lead knowledge share sessions to share and learn new strategies for optimizing and enhancing campaign performance.

5+ years of experience in Media Strategy/Planning experience across media channels.

Strong digital media experience preferred.

Ability to manage timelines, projects and personnel within direct report team and across cross-functional teams.
