Associate Director Of Mechanical Engineering Jobs

Proven experience in high throughput screening and selection-based directed evolution for protein and guide RNA engineering in bacterial and/or mammalian cells.

Experience in early discovery in a CRISPR-based gene and cell therapy company is highly preferred.

At times, design and manage complete machine assemblies while maintaining company design procedures

Experience with Test method development & validation. Experience in Gauge R&R, MSA etc is needed.

Experience with Design Verification & Validation.

Experience with operating mechanical measurement equipment such as Instron, Zwick Metrology equipment. Experience with writing programs & doing fixtures is needed.

Open to 1-5 years of experience. Should have at least 1 years of experience to review resumes.

Experience with Statistical and analytical software such as Minitab is a must.

Tensile testing and mechanical testing experience are ideal.

Education: Four-year engineering or construction management degree

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications- Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project, experience with AutoCAD, Inventor, Solid works, Revit, and/or Visio a plus.

Exceptional interpersonal skills and proven track record of teamwork, adaptability, and innovation.

Establish, maintain, and coordinate policies, standards, specifications, and practices that support and enhance the company strategic objectives.

Interact with a broad section of the industry not only at the plant level but including government, vendor, and industry representatives.

Ensure all engineering projects, initiatives, and processes are in conformance with the organization’s established policies and objectives.

10 years of relevant experience

Substantial depth and breadth of experience leading delivery of large scale software

Expert knowledge of software development practices and methodologies

Experience in guiding implementation of product development methods and processes, including training and coaching teams

Demonstrated management ability and prior experience managing a team.

Automation experience, including PLC and HMI, preferable Allen-Bradley and Rockwell. SCADA knowledge is a plus. Controls networks, DeviceNet, ControlNet, Ethernet (fundamental)

Lead and manage a team of mechanical, electrical, and controls engineers.

Use technical knowledge to help support business strategy, including the evaluation of new acquisitions.

Excellent written and oral communication skills.
