Associate Claims Adjuster Trainee Jobs in Ohio

Build and maintain effective internal and external working relationships. Collaborate with internal support teams and management as appropriate.

Strong analytical, listening, problem solving, critical thinking and negotiating skills.

Minimum of one-year professional work experience

Excellent verbal and written communications skills and ability to draft business-level communications when responding to customers.

Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision to manage schedules and meet deadlines.

· Ensures proper diary management on all claims

· Escalates all potential large loss and extra contractual exposures through management chain.

· Strong analytical and negotiation abilities.

· Proactively investigates and resolves coverage, liability and damages.

· Accurately evaluates special and general damages

· Negotiates settlement of claims directly with the injured party, legal guardian or attorney.

Detail-oriented with strong analytical and time management skills

Makes claim processing determinations based on knowledge, training, and experience and processes claims according to policy provisions and state regulations.

Bachelor’s degree, or related experience

Experience using Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, etc.)

Previous claims, or annuity related, experience is preferred
