Overview The Associate Chief of Staff (ACOS) is a senior-level position within a healthcare organization that is responsible for providing leadership and direction to the organization’s clinical and administrative staff. The ACOS is responsible for developing and implementing strategies to improve patient care, quality of care, and operational efficiency. The ACOS is also responsible for ensuring compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and standards. Detailed Job Description The Associate Chief of Staff is responsible for providing leadership and direction to the organization’s clinical and administrative staff. The ACOS is responsible for developing and implementing strategies to improve patient care, quality of care, and operational efficiency. The ACOS is also responsible for ensuring compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and standards. The ACOS is responsible for developing and implementing policies and procedures, overseeing the organization’s budget and financial operations, and providing guidance and support to staff. The ACOS is also responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with external stakeholders, such as government agencies, regulatory bodies, and other healthcare organizations. Job Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, business administration, or a related field
• Master’s degree in healthcare administration, business administration, or a related field preferred
• 5+ years of experience in a healthcare leadership role
• Previous experience in a healthcare organization
• Certification in healthcare administration or a related field preferred
Job Knowledge
• Knowledge of healthcare laws, regulations, and standards
• Knowledge of healthcare finance and budgeting
• Knowledge of healthcare operations and management
• Knowledge of healthcare technology and systems
Job Experience
• 5+ years of experience in a healthcare leadership role
• Previous experience in a healthcare organization
• Experience in developing and implementing policies and procedures
• Experience in developing and maintaining relationships with external stakeholders
Job Responsibilities
