Overview The Assistant State Chief Information Officer (ASCIO) is responsible for providing leadership and direction to the state’s information technology (IT) operations. The ASCIO is responsible for developing and implementing IT strategies, policies, and procedures that support the state’s IT goals and objectives. The ASCIO is also responsible for managing the state’s IT budget, overseeing IT projects, and providing technical guidance to state agencies. Detailed Job Description The Assistant State Chief Information Officer is responsible for providing leadership and direction to the state’s IT operations. The ASCIO is responsible for developing and implementing IT strategies, policies, and procedures that support the state’s IT goals and objectives. The ASCIO is also responsible for managing the state’s IT budget, overseeing IT projects, and providing technical guidance to state agencies. The ASCIO is responsible for ensuring that the state’s IT infrastructure is secure and compliant with applicable laws and regulations.
