Possession of valid registration as a Speech/Language Pathology Assistant with the California Speech/Language Pathology Board.

Possession of a valid California driver's license and availability of private transportation (mileage expense allowance provided).

Previous experience working with individuals with special needs

2 years’ experience a Speech Language Pathologist/Specialist

Assists the Speech-Language Pathologist in assessment of students' communication skills. E

Learn laws, rules, practices, and procedures related to public education for students.

Model communication and interaction that respects and includes all individuals and their languages, abilities, religions and cultures.

One year experience working with students of various age levels requiring a specialized learning environment.

Demonstrates knowledge of regulatory standards for satisfying compliance with and inspection by CLIA, CAP and other regulatory bodies.

Demonstrates excellent written and verbal communication skills, and exhibits analytic and diagnostic reasoning skills.

Ensures correct patient identification and accurate specimen and cassette labeling according to laboratory policies and procedures.

Obtains pertinent clinical history and takes pictures as appropriate for dissection of specimens.
