Overview Assistant Soccer Coach is responsible for assisting the head coach in all aspects of the soccer program, including practice and game preparation, player development, and team management. They are also responsible for helping to create a positive team atmosphere and providing guidance and support to players. Detailed Job Description Assistant Soccer Coaches are responsible for assisting the head coach in all aspects of the soccer program. This includes practice and game preparation, player development, and team management. They are also responsible for helping to create a positive team atmosphere and providing guidance and support to players. They must be able to communicate effectively with players, parents, and other coaches. They must also be able to motivate players and help them reach their potential. Job Skills Required• Knowledge of soccer rules and regulations
• Ability to motivate and encourage players
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work well with others
• Ability to work independently
• Ability to work under pressure
• Ability to make decisions quickly
• Knowledge of basic first aid
Job Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in physical education, sports management, or related field
• Previous coaching experience preferred
• Current certification in CPR and first aid
• Ability to pass a background check
Job Knowledge
Assistant Soccer Coaches must have a thorough knowledge of soccer rules and regulations. They must also be knowledgeable about the latest coaching techniques and strategies.
Job Experience
Previous coaching experience is preferred but not required.
