Assistant Labor Coordinator Jobs

Strong organization, time management, and prioritization skills.

Report directly to Labor Manager and is responsible for the successful support of the manager.

Lead weekly labor meeting and collaborate closely with department heads and production managers to confirm required labor for each event.

Generate and manage labor purchase orders in Flex.

3 years of experience in the live entertainment industry.

Minimum 2 years of proven working experience in a similar role.

7pm-7:30am Shift M-F or hours as required by the job. Every other weekend and holiday.

Subject to frequent interruptions and changes in priority of duties throughout the day.

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

Schedule: Full time, 36 hrs, Night shift, 7P-7A, Rotating weekends

Hospital: Ascension Via Christi St Joseph

Greet patients and visitors, answer/screen/route telephone calls, files, distributes mail and perform other general clerical duties.

Communicate with patients, families, physicians and other healthcare team members about patient care according to protocol.

Performs verification of insurance benefits with payors to identify co-pay, deductible and co-insurance amounts.

Recognizes and complies with legal and procedural requirements related to area of responsibility.

Protects customer/team member privacy and only accesses customer/team member related information as needed to perform job duties.

Reports areas of concern or potential violations to manager or other members of hospital leadership via established methods of communication.

Creates new charts, manages existing charts, and tears down chart for discharged patients

1+ years' health unit coordinator, scheduling or registration experience in a hospital, clinic, or physician's office preferred.

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:

Licensed EMT or paramedic; or

Licensed EMT or Paramedic; or

Develops own knowledge via practice, observation, and attending continuing education programs.

0-1 years Training and/or experience at an acute care or skilled nursing facility or student nurse with hospital based clinical experience

Applies chest leads for patients on remote telemetry monitoring, and performs basic troubleshooting, such as replacing loose or missing electrodes.

Uses resources and references for reviewing policies and procedures, information needed to complete job duties.

Demonstrates verbal and writing skills that are appropriate for healthcare communication.

Provides patient care under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse.

A comparable amount of training and experience may be substituted for the minimum qualifications.

High School Diploma or equivalent and experience in the supervision of personnel.

Responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to:

A Work Experience with Purpose

Previous patient care duties and computer/secretarial experience

Checks and monitors supplies and nourishments and restocks as necessary. Maintains par levels as appropriate.

Reports broken or damaged equipment and enters work orders as needed.

Supervises the daily unit operations, including human resources management, department and employee safety programs, and risk management.

Knowledge of Nursing Practice Act, The Joint Commission & other federal, state, & local regulatory requirements.

Must be able to work in a Labor/Management Partnership environment.

Minimum two (2) years of nursing experience required.

Minimum two (2) years of experience as charge nurse, preceptor, quality improvement champion or other related leadership experience.

High school diploma OR General Education Diploma (GED) required.
