Overview The Assistant Human Resources Specialist is responsible for providing administrative and operational support to the Human Resources department. This position is responsible for assisting with the recruitment process, onboarding new employees, and providing general HR support. Detailed Job Description The Assistant Human Resources Specialist is responsible for providing administrative and operational support to the Human Resources department. This position is responsible for assisting with the recruitment process, onboarding new employees, and providing general HR support. The Assistant Human Resources Specialist will also be responsible for maintaining employee records, responding to inquiries, and providing general HR advice. Job Skills Required• Knowledge of human resources principles and practices
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Ability to maintain confidentiality
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations
Job Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field
• At least two years of experience in a Human Resources role
• Professional Human Resources certification (PHR/SPHR) preferred
Job Knowledge
• Knowledge of human resources principles and practices
• Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations
• Knowledge of recruitment and onboarding processes
Job Experience
• At least two years of experience in a Human Resources role
• Experience in a customer service role

• Assist with the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures
• Assist with the development and implementation of employee training programs

• Assist with the development and implementation of employee recognition programs
• Assist with the development and implementation of employee engagement initiatives
