Manage assigned unit by interviewing, training & supporting nursing staff.

Assist the clinical managers in monitoring completeness and appropriateness of nursing staff documentation.

5 years prior RN Nursing Supervisory experience, preferably in a long-term care center

Must maintain current CPR certification

Assistant Director of Nursing/Unit Manager

May assess the needs of new residents and inform staff of new resident arrivals.

The ideal candidate will possess at least one year of nurse leadership experience in a skilled nursing community.

Minimum Experience: 3 to 5 years’ experience in an acute care facility, psychiatric experience is preferred. Management experience is required.

Current State Licensure in the state where practicing is required. Current CPR and Automated External Defibrillator (AED) certification are required.

Competency in web technology, including database management, new systems solutions, web development/maintenance, internet/intranet, applications development, data warehousing, and eCommerce.

Plans, installs and supports network services.

Write new code that modifies existing technology to meet current demands and needs.

Conduct studies and recommend alternative technology solutions including hardware, software, web-based systems, and communications to an activity, program or agency.

Competency in technology applications to conduct research and development activities to plan, implement and administer new technologies.

This position is open only to:

A baccalaureate degree in nursing will substitute for one year of the required experience.

A doctorate in nursing or public health will substitute for two years of the required experience.

Specialized degrees will substitute for a maximum of two years of the required experience.
