Assistant Center Coordinator Jobs

Knowledge of and experience with designing, planning, and implementing academic workshops and outreach initiatives

Knowledge of and sensitivity to diverse student experiences in an academic environment

Knowledge of CRLA certification preferred

Knowledge and firm foundation of academic writing, especially at the graduate and professional levels

Knowledge of academic and professional genres, such as theses, dissertations, journal articles, research reports, CVs, cover letters, etc.

Skills in coordinating promotional events and activities and developing marketing to target particular student groups as appropriate

Experience in office administration, retail operations, and/or customer service preferred.

Excellent interpersonal skills: ability to work with others is essential.

Demonstrated experience and comfort using various software programs such as Microsoft Office Suite.

Provide staffing support at the front desk of the museum, welcoming guests, selling tickets and memberships, orienting guests, and answering questions.

Process gift shop sales using Lightspeed sales and inventory system.

Answer phones and respond to phone inquiries.

Register all student data and demographics into EZ Reports for all sites

Enter Attendance daily for all sites

Enter Pre/Post Data into EZ Reports quarterly

Enter student grades into EZ Reports quarterly

Enter standardized test data into EZ Reports annually

Manage paperwork, scheduling, calling, and set-up for all student orientations, testing, and designated SGI classes

One year experience in an administrative capacity preferred

You’ll need the following minimum requirements:

$22.86-$34.29 per hour depending on experience

Maintain center waiting list and conducts public random drawing to select eligible students for enrollment when space becomes available

Assist with marketing the program
