The Assistant Category Development Manager is responsible for providing support to the Category Development Manager in the development and implementation of category strategies and initiatives. This position works closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure that the category strategies are aligned with the company’s overall objectives. The Assistant Category Development Manager will be responsible for the following duties:

• Developing and executing category strategies and initiatives
• Analyzing category performance and identifying opportunities for improvement
• Developing and maintaining relationships with key suppliers and customers
• Developing and implementing promotional and merchandising plans
• Monitoring and analyzing competitive activities
• Developing and managing category budgets
• Preparing reports and presentations
• Assisting in the development of new products and services
