Knowledge and experience in the practice of gold wire and gold ribbon bonding.

Manipulation of items using a variety of tools while using a microscope.

Maintain logs and paperwork and forms accurately.

High School Diploma or equivalent combination of education and or experience, Vocational /specialized training preferred.

What key skills and experience do I need?

Knowledge and use of pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical test equipment.

Experience using test units and ability to assemble small components.

4-5 years of technician experience in electrical assemblies.

What will my responsibilities include?

Knowledge of basic computer skills

Performing two or three of the following job duties; Board Mount; Solder SMT components on PCB's

Prior experience using a microscope

Work Experience 1-3 Years in mechanical or electrical assembly

Knowledge of ESD (Electrostatic discharge) procedures

Basic reading writing in English as well as basic arithmetic skills

Candidate will be required to pass basic English skills assessment

On time arrival to work, regular attendance without excessive absenteeism, and working a full 8 hour or longer work period

Other incidental duties: General work area housekeeping

Able to read, comprehend and speak English, and elementary-level understanding of numerical functions

Adhere to Edwards Environmental Health and Safety and Quality guidelines as they relate to department clean room medical device manufacturing

Must be able to work with minimum supervision by following detailed manufacturing instructions

Adhere to work instructions to build parts that meet the design and quality requirements provided.

Work in compliance with all health and safety requirements for our organization.

Understanding of ESD requirements and product preservation.

Experience with computers using Microsoft Office programs, Word, Excel.

At least 6 months of previous experience in single piece flow assembly production lines recommended.

Good communication skills (verbal and written)

Good understanding of quality control principles; experience applying procedures for detailed documentation of work orders, travelers, process data, test results, etc.

Typically reports to a supervisor/manager

Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, assembly drawings, and schematics.

3+ years' experience in the functional area Specialized Knowledge & Skills (If Applicable) in the following areas:

Education Minimum high school education or equivalent.

Familiar with IPC- know soldering requirements, inspecting requirements. How many classes are in IPC.

Teamwork. Ability to work effectively in groups of 2-10 people. Physical Requirements/Working Conditions (If Applicable)

Use hand tools to crimp, soldering and screw bolts. Crimping is a mechanical skill/install hardware and familiar with a torque driver.

PC Skills: Must be familiar with using different manufacturing applications and be able to navigate simple software.
