Area Group Sales Manager Jobs in Missouri

Bachelor's degree (B. A. or B.S.) in business, marketing or another related field is preferred, or 5 years industry experience.

2 years of foodservice sales, seafood sales and/or culinary experience and/or culinary degree preferred.

Ability to write reports/ general business correspondence. Excellent communication skills, written and verbal

Physical requirements: Must be able to lift 35 pounds.

Results driven, self-motivated. Must be a self-starter and possesses a high bias for action. Strong negotiation skills.

Ability to cook, prepare and create food presentations, develop on trend recipe applications and menu ideation.

Manage groups each season from initial proposal to close of sale, seating, and collection of payment.

Previous experience in Sales and customer service within the entertainment, hospitality, and travel industry.

Strong communication, organizational, and follow-through skills.

Establish and maintain relationships with new and current groups as well as hotels, associations, organizations, and Sales partners.

Research, build, and maintain community partnerships for shared group opportunities.

Attend industry networking events, tradeshows, and conventions to promote Group Sales, and generate leads.
