They must be able to use computer software and other technology to store and manage the materials. They must also be able to create and maintain digital archives and other digital collections. Job Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in history, library science, or a related field

• Master’s degree in archival studies or a related field

• Certification from the Academy of Certified Archivists
